Electronics Engineering Internship

ThrustMe is a fast-growing space actor founded in 2017 with the mission to enable sustainable use of space by bringing complete in-orbit mobility to satellites of any size. We provide deeply-integrated and smart propulsion systems designed for the industrialised satellite era. ThrustMe made history in 2020 with the world’s first in-orbit demonstrations of an iodine-fueled electric propulsion system - a dream come true for the space industry since the 60s.

Our clients in Europe, US, and Asia manufacture and operates satellites in large constellations for real-time earth observation and connectivity. To meet our clients’ needs, we are now industrialising our mainstream products and setting up a production line with a capacity of hundreds of systems per year. The production line will combine a classical space approach with lean manufacturing from the automotive and robotics industries.

The candidate will take part in the test, qualification, and production processes of electronic devices related to spacecraft propulsion systems. The activities will contribute to the transition to mass production of the propulsion systems developed by ThrustMe.

Your responsibilities

  • Circuit design, test and validation
  • Microcontroller configuration & programming (C)
  • GUI-based test software development
  • Test bench conception and setup
  • Test procedure writing


Skills and qualifications

  • Good understanding of analog and digital electronics basics
  • Basic understanding of electromagnetic compatibility
  • Able to work with PCB design software
  • Experience with embedded electronics and/or software development
  • Willing to learn and ready to get out of his/her comfort zone with a positive “can do” attitude
  • Ready to work within an international and multidisciplinary team
  • Communicates in English fluently. French is a plus
