Industrialization Engineer

Join Our Orbit: Become an Industrialization Engineer at ThrustMe

From concept to mass production: ThrustMe is more than just a company, it's a revolution in the space industry. Established in 2017, we've been game-changers by developing and deploying the world's first iodine-powered electric propulsion system for satellites in space. Today, with a full production line and global deliveries, we demonstrate that boldness and precision pave the way to new frontiers.

Your Role in Our Space Expedition: As an Industrialization Engineer at ThrustMe, you are crucial in transforming innovative designs into tangible, flight-ready propulsion systems. Your mission is to ensure that the team's ideas will become efficient and reliable propulsion systems, ready to manoeuvre satellites. You will bridge the gap between groundbreaking research and large-scale production, making sure our products stand up to the rigours of space before they are deployed globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Industrialize new and existing propulsion systems and their components, adapting them for mass production.
  • Tackle challenging industrialization issues, where designs and components must withstand extreme thermal, vibration, and shock environments.
  • Optimize product designs and manufacturing processes to meet key production constraints, such as assembly time, quality, and cost.
  • Develop and implement rigorous testing methods for products, ensuring they meet industry standards. Lead qualification campaigns and collaborate with critical suppliers to qualify components for flight units.
  • Document industrialization processes, maintaining meticulous records that demonstrate the rigor and precision of our validation processes.

Ideal Profile:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in mechanical, mechatronic, material, or aerospace engineering.
  • You bring 2+ years of experience as an AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Test) or industrialization engineer, preferably in a high-stakes industry like aviation or space.
  • Your skills include proficiency in CAD and technical drawing tools such as Solidworks, Catia, or Inventor.
  • Experience with mechatronic systems or PCB assembly is highly valued.
  • You are recognized for your attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Your Impact at ThrustMe: As an Industrialization Engineer, your work is to ensure that all our innovative products reach the mass production stage.
