Your Role in Our Space Expedition: As a Mechanical Engineer at ThrustMe, you'll be designing the mechanical aspects of our advanced propulsion systems, including their internal subcomponents. Your designs will confront the harsh realities of space, enduring extreme thermal, vibrational, and shock conditions. Integrating with our Product Development Team, you stand at the crossroads of groundbreaking research and large-scale production, transforming innovative ideas into systems ready to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer complex components and assemblies for cutting-edge propulsion systems.
• Ensure designs meet stringent performance metrics and comply with both integrator and launcher specifications.
• Participate in mechanical test plans, analyse outcomes, and refine designs based on these insights.
• Work collaboratively with a team of engineers and physicists to develop revolutionary products, while also capable of independent initiative.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• You hold a Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• You have at least 2 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, with 5 or more years being highly advantageous.
• Your expertise includes extensive experience with CAD and technical drawings.
• Experience in industries with rigorous requirements (such as aviation, space, or nuclear) is highly desirable.
• Additional credit for knowledge in procurement, conventional machining, or innovative materials.
• Fluent in English communication.
